We are looking for a Paid Social Manager to lead and drive the social media marketing efforts across multiple platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid social campaigns aimed at driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions for RedBalloon.com.au
and Adrenaline.com.au.
Your focus will be on managing the full-funnel paid social strategy, with an emphasis on driving both awareness and conversion. As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop creative, high-performing campaigns that deliver on key performance targets and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across platforms, with a primary focus on Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
- Lead the execution of full-funnel campaigns, ensuring messaging and targeting aligns with each stage of the customer journey.
- Oversee the execution of social media campaigns on platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Ensure campaigns are optimised for performance & efficiency. KPIs include (but are not limited to) CAC, CPO, ROAS and ROI.
Campaign Optimisation
- Regularly analyse and optimise paid social campaigns based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as impressions, reach, engagement, CTR, and ROAS.
- Drive continuous performance improvements through A/B testing, creative optimisations, audience segmentation, and budget allocation adjustments.
Audience Segmentation and Targeting
- Consider 1PD and audience segmentation to balance new customer acquisition with delivering the best offers to our subscribers first, ensuring cost-efficiency in targeting strategies.
- Understand and utilise segment CDP to refine and mature Paid Social Marketing strategies, enhancing targeting precision and driving more effective, personalised campaigns working in partnership with DX and Data teams.
Creative & Content Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Brand Social team to create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Share creative performance statistics with Brand & Creative teams to produce high-impact assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement across the full marketing funnel.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
- Regularly monitor and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Use analytics tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other data visualisation tools to inform campaign strategy and decision-making.
- Track and analyse Paid Social performance metrics, including revenue generation, customer acquisition, and engagement, to ensure monthly targets are being met.
- Ensure Paid Social activities align with forecasted results and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed commercial goals.
- Ensure proper, functional, and accurate tracking and tagging of all Paid Social campaigns. Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to verify that all Social Media tracking is precise and aligned with performance metrics, ensuring reliable data for optimisation and reporting.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Brand, Product, Creative) to ensure alignment across all marketing initiatives and to execute integrated campaigns that deliver business outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and platform updates, adapting strategies to maintain competitive edge.
Budget & Spend Management
- Manage and optimise paid social budgets across platforms, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across campaigns to achieve commercial KPIs.
- · Work with the Performance team to align budget strategies with broader business objectives and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
Experience and Skills Required
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns, particularly on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), with an understanding of the full funnel from awareness to conversion.
- Strong expertise in campaign optimisation, A/B testing, and audience segmentation to drive maximum performance.
- Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Ability to develop and execute paid social strategies for ecommerce brands with a focus on achieving KPIs such as ROAS and CPA.
- Solid understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and on the cutting edge.
- Experience with managing paid social budgets and reporting on financial performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
